CCEC Engine Co., Ltd. is a Sino-US joint venture. It was established in October 1995 and is located in the Martyrs’ Tomb in Shapingba District, Chongqing City. The Chinese parent company is Chongqing Electromechanical Co., Ltd., and the foreign parent company is CCEC (China) Investment Co., Ltd., and the investment ratio of both parties is 50%. There are more than 1400 employees. The predecessor of CCEC was the Chongqing Automobile Engine Factory, which began the design and manufacture of diesel engines in the 1950s.
